Corinth High School senior Braxton Stevens has been named a semifinalist for the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Program, moving to the next round of the selection process to become a Coca-Cola Scholar and receive a $20,000 college scholarship. Stevens is one of 18 semifinalists in the state of Mississippi and among 1,238 semifinalists nationally. Semifinalists represent 1.1% of the over 107,000 applicants from across the country for this program.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Corinth School District hosted the “Full STEAM Ahead into Fall” STEM Saturday camp. Over 100 students registered for the event which brought science, technology, engineering, and math to life through vibrant, hands-on activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Corinth School District was overrun with pirates as more than 100 students attended the "STEM Ahoy! Pirates, Parrots and STEM Saturday." The event brought science, technology, engineering, and math to life through a treasure trove of vibrant, hands-on activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity.

For Corinth Elementary students in second through fourth grade, a lesson on life cycles has come to life in the most hands-on way imaginable: by incubating, hatching, and raising their own baby chicks.

On Sept. 4, Corinth High School (CHS) hosted its fourth annual Senior Prep Day event, a day for seniors to interact with local professionals in preparation for their future. The day opened with a motivational speech by special guest CHS alumni Dr. Ron Patterson, president of Murray State University. Afterwards, seniors began their station rotation which included mock interviews, the Fab Life financial literacy awareness game and a college and career fair.

Jack Frame, a senior at Corinth High School, is a semifinalist in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. He joins approximately 16,000 other high school seniors in receiving this honor. He will continue in the national competition for approximately 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million.
