The Corinth School District welcomes Milton Ray III as the assistant superintendent for the district. Ray was most recently the principal of Pascagoula High School since 2023.

Corinth High School junior Max Evans was selected as the alternate junior student representative for the Mississippi State Board of Education. As alternate, if the current junior student representative (Gulfport High School’s Cannon Parker) is unable to fulfill his term for any reason, Max will step in and complete the term.

The Corinth School District announces its participation in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Under the SFSP, nutritious meals are provided free of charge to children under 18 years of age. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Corinth School District honors three outstanding teachers for their annual Teacher of the Year awards: Whitney Irwin (Corinth Elementary School), Rhoda Ballard (Corinth Middle School) and Craig Strickland (Corinth High School). The Corinth Rotary recently honored Ms. Ballard and Dr. Strickland at a Rotary meeting.

On Saturday, April 11, the Corinth School District hosted the “STEM Rocks” STEM Saturday camp, where over 100 registered students brought science, technology, engineering, and math to life. The vibrant, hands-on activities were specifically designed to spark boundless imagination and intellectual curiosity in students from Pre-K through 6th grade.
