Corinth High School senior Wyatt Murphree was named a 2025 STAR Student, an academic achievement honor given by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) M.B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition Program (STAR).
Families had the opportunity to join their Corinth Elementary School students for a hands-on educational experience at a recent STEM Saturday event
The Corinth School District honors three teachers for their annual Teacher of the Year awards: Christy Miller (Corinth Elementary School), John Hall Morgan (Corinth Middle School) and Paige Frame (Corinth High School). The Corinth Rotary recently honored Ms. Miller and Mrs. Frame at a Rotary meeting.
The Corinth School District announces its participation in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Under the SFSP, nutritious meals are provided free of charge to children 18 years and under. Meals will be provided , at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
On April 5, the Corinth School District hosted “Spring into STEM” Saturday camp. Over 115 students registered to attend the Saturday camp that helps students learn how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) connects to the world around us through fun, hands-on experiments and activities.
Join us for a special, family-centered STEM Saturday on May 10th! We invite students in 1st through 4th grade to join these two-hour sessions alongside their families as we participate in a STEM challenge. These sessions will be limited to 50 student participants in each session. The first session will be for our 1st/2nd grade students and will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Our second session will be for our 3rd/4th grade students and will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Both sessions will be held at the Corinth Elementary School cafeteria. Due to the short nature of these sessions, we will not serve lunch or run buses. However, if you or a family representative are unable to attend with your child, we will have staff available to support your child during the STEM challenge. Corinth High School senior baseball standout Griffin Enis has cranked out another homerun, but this score comes in the classroom.
Enis will be honored on Tuesday, May 6 in Clinton by the Mississippi High School Athletic Association as one of 16 statewide winners for the 2025 Lindy Callahan Scholar Athlete.
