Health Benefits
The Corinth School District participates in the state health insurance plan for employees. Health insurance is provided for all full-time employees and bus drivers of the district. A full-time employee is defined as one who works 20 hours per week or more. For Blue Cross Blue Shield health care, employees can choose between the base plan and the select plan. The school district covers the full amount of the base plan, making it free for an employee only (no dependents). The school district covers the majority of the cost of the select plan and the employee covers the remaining portion ($43 for employee only, no dependents).
Employees have the option to purchase dental and vision care through Metlife. The dental plan has a high and low plan option.

The school district provides life insurance through American United Life (AUL). This life insurance has a coverage of $31,100 at no cost to the employee. An employee can choose to purchase additional term life insurance through UNUM Life. The school district will match what you pay unless you select additional AD&D or add dependents.
Additional Insurance Options
American Fidelity offers many different options such as the ability to obtain disability insurance, cancer, additional life insurance, annuity, flex, GAP, accident, critical illness, MS Deferred Comp, etc.
Modified Calendar
The Corinth School District follows a modified school calendar. Research shows that students can have significant learning loss over the long summer months. To combat these academic challenges, CSD has moved to a modified calendar that allows for longer breaks throughout the school year. Time off includes: six weeks in the summer; three weeks in October; two weeks in December and March; and one week at Thanksgiving. The school district also observes the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day and Independence Day.

“I chose to return to the Corinth School District to teach because I am a product of our school system. I felt a need to return and pour into our community and the children within it--the same way many teachers poured into me as a student. I want to provide the kind of learning experiences that children remember and that make them excited to come to school each day!”Porcshia Wyke

“Our school is different from other schools across the state in a lot of ways, but one of the most important ways is the way that our students, faculty, and student athletes are provided for. It's truly special to be a part of a district that gives so much to each and every person. The technology that is used in the classroom and goes home with the students each day is remarkable.”
